"Papa" is actually our family's last name, and we've designed Papa's Place as an extension of our own home. From our family to yours, we hope you find the space and connection you’ve been looking for on a perfect Deep Creek Lake retreat.

Tucked away in the quiet community of Beckman’s Peninsula, our home is a hidden sanctuary where you can truly unplug. While it feels worlds away, you’re just a short drive from the heart of the action—marinas, dining, and state parks are all within easy reach. It’s the perfect balance: secluded enough for quiet family moments, yet close enough to enjoy every adventure the area has to offer.

✓Kitchen Care: Feel free to cook big family feasts! Please just tidy up and start the dishwasher before you depart.

✓Primary Guest: The person who booked the property must stay at the lodge for the entire duration of the booking.

✓Approved Guests Only: Only guests whose names were provided to the owner in advance are permitted to stay.

✓Occupancy Limits: The total number of guests cannot exceed the lodge's maximum occupancy or the number of originally booked persons.

✓No Smoking: Papa’s Place is a strictly smoke-free environment. Smoking of any kind (including cigarettes, cigars, vapes, and e-cigarettes) is prohibited.

✓Pet Policy: We warmly welcome up to two small dogs (under 20 lbs each). Please use the provided pet towels for any muddy paws!

✓Safety First: Please supervise children closely near the water, fireplace, and decks.

✓Unplug: We encourage you to put the phones away and focus on making memories at the lake!
